It's final now, we've got our tickets. I am so very excited. The countdown has officially begun 18 days for saaj and 27 days for myself. Saaj will be leaving one week ahead of me. I am looking forward to getting there in and of itself. It's a little intimidating but I hope to make the best of the flight over. We have a stop over in Qatar (we're flying Qatar airways)- I had no clue where that was until I realized I would have a stop over there. So, just a hop over from Saudi Arabia... i'm starting to just grasp all of the things that I need to prepare myself for.
I still need to get my travel visa but will do so shortly- Its scaring me that i'll be mailing my passport to NY, and I just hope that it comes back in time for my trip.
I need to get my comfy/travel clothes ready not only for traveling- but I just peeked at a few images of Chitwan National Park- and if i'm going to get to ride the elephants i've got to pack some serious play clothes.
I haven't been sleeping much at night from the anxiety of this upcoming trip. Funny, I thought i'd rest easy once our tickets were bought but it's just heightened my anxiety.
I'm looking forward to meeting Saajan's mom and the rest of his family. We finished packing a lot of the things we wanted to bring as gifts. The next step... more packing.
